You have a 21-day grace period after the expiry date on your disc. Once that lapses, penalties start accumulating for every month the licence remains unpaid, and you can be fined if you are stopped. Send us your details before the grace period ends and we will get it renewed in time.
It depends on the service — use the checklist above to see exactly what applies. For a standard renewal it is your ID copy, proof of address dated within the last three months, and the renewal notice or previous licence disc. Send it all through on WhatsApp first and we will check it before anything goes to the counter.
No. If the utility bill or statement is in someone else's name, we supply a CRA-01 declaration form for them to sign along with a copy of their ID. If you live in a complex or rent, a signed letter from the landlord or body corporate also works. Tell us your situation and we will send you the right form.
Yes — a motor vehicle licence renewal can be processed at any licensing office in the country regardless of where the vehicle is registered. Change of ownership and registration transfers are different and may need to be handled in the registering authority's province. Send us the details and we will confirm what is possible before you send anything through.
A roadworthy certificate is valid for 60 days from the date of issue for the purpose of registering or transferring a vehicle. If you are buying or selling, plan the transfer within that window — we can arrange the test and the change of ownership together so the timing works out.
Every drop-off is logged and you receive a written receipt listing exactly what we have. Your originals stay in our hands only — never passed to a third party — and are returned to you the moment the transaction is done. We are also POPIA compliant: your personal information is used solely to complete your transaction and is never shared or sold.
You pay two things: the licensing department's own fee, which is set by government and varies by vehicle weight and how long the licence has been outstanding, and our service fee for handling the queue and the paperwork. We quote both up front in writing before anything starts, so there are no surprises. Fleet accounts are priced per vehicle at a reduced rate.
